“القومه للسودان”

At this week’s forum, we briefly touch on the Sudanese Government’s campaign “القومه للسودان“. Our discussion, however, focused on the Government’s planned fiscal strategies, as described in their promotional video.

We explore the likely involvement and role of the Sudanese diaspora abroad in supporting the interim Government’s efforts, and begin to identify areas in which opportunities and projects may exist.

The discussion surrounds the following products and sectors:

– Fuel and bread availability and cost;

– Agriculture;

– Healthcare reform and standards;

– Education reform and standards.

Finally, we briefly discuss a ‘One Sudanese Identity’, an initiative launched by anaSudan late last year, and the order of its priority in the context of achieving social cohesion and a unified Sudan, as a key national priority.
