anaSudan invited to be Partner for the C20 working group on Gender Equality & Disability
We are delighted to announce that anaSudan has been invited to participate as a Partner for the C20 working group on Gender Equality & Disability, as part of India’s G20 Presidency in 2023.
With India hosting the G20 Summit this year, the purpose of C20 is to function as a platform to bring forth civil society organizations (CSOs) voices to the G20 leaders. The Government of India has set the G20 agenda as ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. We thus believe there is vast potential to join hands and seek solutions to the challenges the world faces at this critical time.
We kick off our partnership by participating in the subtheme group focusing on physical and mental health of girls and women.
The role of our Partners would be to:
1) bring in significant other partners (NGOs/CSOs, Government, experts, and any additional relevant partners); or
2) participate in events (such as live global action events) or;
3) participate in discussions on policy recommendations related to any subtheme of Gender Equality and Disability;
